About the Journal

The Journal of Integrated Sustainability in Engineering (JISE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal that publishes original, high-quality research dedicated to advancing sustainable engineering practices across all disciplines. JISE provides a global platform for scholars, practitioners, and industry professionals to contribute to the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovative, interdisciplinary, and impactful engineering solutions.

Focus and Scope

JISE welcomes contributions from all engineering domains including, but not limited to:

  • Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Environmental Engineering

  • Renewable Energy Systems and Green Technologies

  • Smart Cities, Digital Infrastructure, and Automation

  • Sustainable Materials and Manufacturing

  • Water, Waste, and Resource Management

Both theoretical and applied research articles, review papers, case studies, and technical communications are considered.

JISE is fully open access. All published articles are freely available online without subscription or paywall barriers. Readers can access, distribute, and reuse content under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), provided the original work is properly cited. No subscription or registration is required to access content.

Peer Review Process

Submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of scholarly integrity, novelty, and technical accuracy. Expert reviewers and editorial board members from diverse engineering disciplines support a fair and timely review process.
